The Boys Are Back.
Exciting news today as it emerges that Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond have inked a deal with Amazon Prime Instant Video. Not only are the three former Top Gear presenters coming back, but the Amazon deal includes producer Andy Wilman who many credit as being the creative force behind Top Gear.
This probably exponentially increases the number of subscribers to Amazon prime as Top Gear was the most watched factual television program of all time with a weekly audience of 350 million viewers.
This news was so big that it was event covered by the Wall Street Journal. The first season of the new show is expected to arrive in 2016 but no word on filming locations.
I'm very excited to announce that Hammond, May and I have signed a deal with .@AmazonVideo
