Video of the Week- New Feature
We are starting a new feature here on TLP and that is a weekly post of the best car video on the Internets in our opinion. This is based on our own judgement and is not backed up by science, or even common sense. The videos we pick could be new or old. It really just depends on what we found entertaining that particular week.
This week's video is a throwback to one of the greatest film series ever created. The Hire was a series of eight short films made for the internet back in 2001 and 2002. It was one of the first experiments with branded content as BMW paid for the films in order to highlight various BMW automobiles. The films and associated marketing strategy costs an estimated $22 million.
