24 Hours of LeMans Practice
This weekend is practice for the upcoming 24 hours of LeMans. Below is the customary grid photo of this year's entrants. In this photo is hundreds of millions of dollars of racing technology. If you have never watched the 24 hours then you should. It is an epic (hate to use this word but it is fitting in this case) 24 hour battle between some of the worlds biggest car manufacturers. This is also the proving ground where auto makers test out their most cutting edge technology that, if successful, will make it into the cars that we drive everyday. This year the battle will be between Audi, Toyota and Porsche as they each take a different approach to using hybrid technology. The race starts Saturday June 14th and will finish on Sunday June 15th.
