Sir Jack Brabham 1926-2014

It is with great sadness that the Loud Pedal marks the passing of three-time Formula 1 World Champion and F1 car manufacturer, Sir Jack Brabham.  Among the countless achievements and accolades he accumulated over his life, he was probably most well known for being the one and only driver to win a World Championship in a car of his own manufacture.  Our thoughts go out to his family.  Sir Jack Brabham was 88. We were fortunate enough to meet Mr. Brabham in 2006 at the Monterey Historics, featuring Cooper Cars.
