Throwback Thursday- March 19th

It was 2005 or 2006.  A1 Grand Prix at Laguna Seca.  The A1  was a single make (Lola-Zytek) race series where each team/driver represented a country.  Billed as a grand prix of nations which last from 2005 to 2009 and raced all across the world.  This particular shot is of Jas Verstappen "Jas the Boss" racing for Team Netherlands.  Jas raced in F1 prior to A1 and became really famous for this incident.  His son Max is currently the youngest F1 driver in history racing for Red Bull Toro Rosso.
