Monterey 2016 Preview #2
In our ongoing series of previews for Monterrey Car Week, we present another major auction find coming to Monterey this August. RM Sotheby's will auction off a slice of Ford racing heaven. The cars, an original GT40, two Cobras, two Boss 302s and a first generation Shelby GT350 are part of the Jim Click Collection.
The 1966 GT40 is expected to fetch between $3,750,000 and $4,250,000 while the less expensive 1964 Shelby 289 Competition Cobra is expected to fetch $2,200,000 to $2,600,000.
